  Another Fantasy Faire post, and this time we have an elf gal with a sci-fi edge!

I thought I’d try something a bit different from the usual “elves and fairies” route I’ve been going and dress up as a sort of Ball-Joint wind-up doll for a change. So I recently realized that if I keep going with the theme of “one post representing one Fantasy Faire region” twice a day, I won’t have all the regions posted by the time the faire ends on May 8 th . I’m a bit embarrassed I didn’t think of this when I started, but then this is my first time blogging Fantasy Faire on something besides Flickr. What I’m going to do from now on is feature two, three, or even four regions per post. And I’m going to make a note to plan my blogging more carefully in the future, lol.  Today I’m getting out my alt, Isidore Barrow, and swinging my beautiful but deadly blade in the beautiful region of Tenpyo.

  As of posting this, I’ve explored all the sims, and I can confidently say this is my favourite one! Welcome to The Chrysalis Gardens! The Chrysalis Gardens is designed by Marcus Inkpen and sponsored by The Looking Glass. Where can I start with this region? The enormous trees that stretch up out of sight into the misty deep-violet twilight of the region, the treehouses built among them, connected by walkways… Also, the Goddess-like statue at the centre of the region, holding a glowing butterfly whilst surrounded by smaller butterflies. For some reason, this region just makes me feel at home. The effect of trees stretching up and out of sight into misty skies is so cool, and I truly admire the designer for being able to achieve such an amazing effect. The description of The Chrysalis Gardens reads as follows: “Deep blue mist reveals tall thin trees reaching for the sky while supporting networks of glowing amber greenhouses on ornate walkways and bridges.” First Pic Credits: Hai...
