I’m devoting this post strictly to landscape shots of five of Fantasy Faire’s beautiful regions, starting with Sipala!
Sipala is designed by Gidgette Adagio and sponsored by Melodic
Effect. This is not a shopping sim, but a party region, and a breathtaking one,
with Greco-Roman inspired ruins, waterfalls, floating islands, and butterflies
everywhere.
Giraphoria
Giraphoria is located next to Sambeaubee, and is designed by
Lilia Artis & Haveit Neox. It and Sambeaubee both have a similarly surreal
theme incorporating imagery of Giraffes, butterflies, old ships, and
multicoloured landscapes.
WooHoo Bay
Designed by Lrriven and sponsored by .:Soul:. and PolyPlace,
WooHoo is “a tropical paradise done in pastel, WooHoo! Is a whimsical land
where one may complete a quest of self discovery to save the local fire lizards
from their volcano god.”
Safe Haven
Safe Haven, designed by Sweetgwendoline Bailey and Mondi
Beaumont, and sponsored by Sweet Revolutions and Telperion Designs, is an
enchanting village set somewhere in a desert under red-tinted skies. According to
the writeup on Fantasy
Faire’s Safe Haven web page, “legend tells of the merchants trading in the
barren, desolate lands, who offer all kinds of fantastic and magical things in
their stores.”
Khumbala
The beautiful colourful world of Khumbala is designed
by Ketsui Naidoo, Robynredhead & Synthodox, and sponsored by Novus
Ascending. “Since the beginning, Khumbala, an Afrocentric Dreamworld of
Memories, has grown and prospered under the rule of five benevolent Gods.
Through them, the world was brought the waters, the winds, the very ground we
stand, crops that sprout therein and the light that shines above. A world in
tune with the elements that merge at the basin of a mighty mountain.”
